Icing the compliment was the presence of our competitor within Maritz in attendance to the meeting. By complimenting Rose in front of its competitors meant that Rose was doing a better job than their existing offshore vendor.

Adding to those lines are a very positive strides that our product Maestro VMS has acquired. If one has to quote the suppliers “it is one of the most user friendly applications they have encountered”. Great Work!!

In continuation to our previous edition of Rits Reporter wherein we had mentioned about the Six Sigma methodology training imparted to over 20+ employee across RITS, it has been a remarkable success in terms of % age of employees qualifying the same from KPMG a lobal network of professional services firms providing quality services in 148 countries and having around 6,500 partners, 70,000 client service professionals, and 17,000 administration and support staff working in member firms around the world.

The purpose to train employees with Six Sigma methodologies was to turn knowledge into value for the benefit of our clients and our people. Our employees work in an environment where they can learn and develop, and everyone is given the opportunity to be the best they can be. This approach gives our organization an invaluable depth and breadth, helping us to provide clients with a range of perspectives, experience, ideas and capabilities.

 Investment Basics

The investment landscape at the dawn of 2006 poses a curious dilemma for rational investors: where does one go after an extraordinary year like 2005.The stock markets are an all-time high after the bull run of the last two years, Sensex hitting the magical 9000 mark and still going strong; real estate prices vaulted by up to 60 per cent in well-chosen residential neighborhoods in the metros; interest rates on debt instruments are just about coming off their historic low, and aren't expected to shoot up; and even the price of gold–never considered the best of ‘investments'–is at a 16-year high. Is there any upside left in any asset class at all? Where can one invest in 2006?

 Events Update

Diwali or Deepawali is also known as the Festival of Lights. Sanskrit word "Deepavali" - Deepa meaning light and Avali, meaning a row. During the Festival of Lights, 'deeps', or oil lamps, are burned throughout the day and into the night to ward off darkness and evil. Diwali - The Festival of Lights - apart from being the most widely celebrated is one of the most colorful Indian festivals. It is a festival of joy, splendour, brightness and happiness. This Diwali which leads us into Truth and Light is celebrated on a nation-wide scale on Amavasya. Rose IT Solutions celebrated the Diwali of 2005 in grandeur. Rangoli which is an identity to any auspicious celebration in India marked the beginning of this colorful festival at our office premises and the event was concluded at night by lighting fire crackers – which signifies the win over the evil. We were also privileged to have with us our CEO Mr. H.S. Bhatia to grace the occasion with his presence. Active participation of all employees deciphered the amount of excitement associated with the festival.

 Did you Know? Quick Quiz
The coldest place in the Earth's lower atmosphere is usually not over the North or South Poles, as you might expect, but over the Equator. The tropopause(the boundary between the two lowest layers of the Atmosphere) varies in height from an average of only 9 km above the two poles to 18 km above the Equator. Air temperature steadily decreases right up to the top of the tropopause. Thus, temperatures often fall as low as -80 degrees Celsius above the Equator, whereas over the North and South Poles they rarely fall below -55 degrees Celsius.
