  From the Director's Desk

Have you ever challenged YOURSELF i.e. your own abilities?? If not, do it… test it!! You will get amazing results. Do not frown or get depressed seeing your coworker perform beyond your own imaginable capabilities. You too can land up there and may easily outperform even the best coworker, if you believe in your own self, your capabilities and are eager to challenge your own performance every day.

I have seen some folks here in RITS do exactly the same and that's the reason their performance is soaring. Such insatiable hunger for growth emanates from within, and that's the reason why I ask you to challenge yourself for your own good and for the company.

As regarding company's performance all three divisions Recruiting, Software Development and Business Intelligence team are doing well and are being appreciated by our parent organization in the U.S. , but there is a lot that is still desired - higher productivity, team efficacy and quick turn around time. We all need to challenge these parameters collectively….TOGETHER WE CAN, TOGETHER WE WILL.

Regards,

Pankaj Seth

Diwali or Deepawali is also known as the Festival of Lights. Sanskrit word "Deepavali" - Deepa meaning light and Avali, meaning a row. During the Festival of Lights, 'deeps', or oil lamps, are burned throughout the day and into the night to ward off darkness and evil. Diwali - The Festival of Lights - apart from being the most widely celebrated, is one of the most colorful Indian festivals. It is a festival of joy, splendor, brightness and happiness. This Diwali which leads us into Truth and Light is celebrated on a nationwide scale on Amavasya. Rose IT Solutions celebrated the Diwali of 2006 in grandeur. Rangoli, which is an identity to any auspicious celebration in India , marked the beginning of this colorful festival at our office premises and the event was concluded at night by lighting fire crackers – which signifies the win over the evil. We were also privileged to have with us our CEO Mr. H.S. Bhatia to grace the occasion with his presence. This was embraced by activities followed like Tambola, Antakshiri, singing, jokes and mimickery. Active participation of all employees deciphered the amount of excitement associated with the festival.

Embedded System

An embedded system is a special-purpose system in which the computer is completely encapsulated by the device it controls. Unlike a general-purpose computer, such as a personal computer, an embedded system performs one or a few pre-defined tasks, usually with very specific requirements. Since the system is dedicated to specific tasks, design engineers can optimize it, reducing the size and cost of the product. Embedded systems are often mass-produced, so the cost savings may be multiplied by millions of items.
